Second Annual Summer Shindig to celebrate recovery, community at Hearten House

You are invited to celebrate the journey to recovery at the Second Annual Set Free Summer Shindig.

The event recognizes those in recovery and their supporters while embracing the life-changing impact of being set free of addiction.

Enjoy food, music, games, testimonials, a bake sale and more on Sept. 12 from 5-8 p.m. at Hearten House, 1304 Center St.

The Set Free Summer Shindig is a free, family-friendly event that is open to individuals eager to cheer on those on a recovery journey or anyone overcoming addiction.

Handicapped parking spots are located on site. General parking is available two block north of Hearten House at the DeKalb County Fairgrounds.

Shuttle service will be provided by the DeKalb County Horseman’s Association via horse-drawn wagon or Hearten House via air-conditioned passenger vans.
