Hearten House has shown me that my purpose and meaning for life is in Christ. My life was insane before recovery, but now I have a healthier lifestyle.

The Hearten House has restored my faith in Jesus. Before coming here, I was truly broken, barely seeing my kids and couldn’t keep a job.

Before I came to the Hearten House I was depressed and selfish. I had no self respect. I was very deep into a meth addiction.

I have found security, love, and support at the Hearten House. I know that I am a child of God and have a teachable spirit.

I have found God since I have been at the Hearten House and through Him, I have been able to push forward and remain sober.

The Hearten House helped me to have a relationship with God resulting in forgiving myself and getting my life together. 

The Hearten House has taught me how to be a mom, daughter, and just an overall good person again.

I was looking for a program and God put me at Hearten House. I was so excited. I could feel the love from the time I walked in the door. I have learned so much in this program. Each day I fight demons, but I know with this place and God, I can fight everything.

I completed a half-way house and a couple substance abuse programs but, still I relapsed again. Now that I’m at Hearten House, I FINALLY GET IT!! I was missing God in my recovery.

Before I came to the Hearten House I was lost, alone, broken, and had lost my faith and hope in my life. I am so blessed that God placed me at Hearten House.

Before I came to Hearten House, I was suicidal, broken, fearful, and angry. Due to domestic violence and emotional abuse every day I felt less than, not enough, devalued, ignored, used, and unloved.

When I arrived at Hearten House, I was lost and broken. Through my stay here, I have received help with managing emotions, gaining self-worth, and learning to love myself. I have learned to not only love myself, but also how to have healthy relationships.

Before Hearten House I was lost. Using everyday, running from warrants and in a really abusive relationship. When I was arrested I had decided I had had enough and I applied to Hearten House and several halfway houses.

When I walked into the hearten house, my entire world changed! For nothing but the better :) I learned that it's okay to be you and that if there's a will there's a way and I gave my life to the Lord, was baptized with my mother, and I've been sober since January 19th 2022.

Before I came to the Hearten House, I served 2 months in the county jail. When I went to jail, I was relieved because I was homeless and living in my truck that was barely running.

From the moment I arrived at Hearten House, the love I felt was amazing. Words cannot describe what a wonderful feeling it was walking through the door. With the help of staff and God, I have hope for my future! I have integrity and self-confidence. But most importantly, today I LOVE and FORGIVE myself.
