There are several ways to show your support for Hearten House, its mission and the women it serves. Whether you choose to give financially, have in-kind donations, want to sponsor or hold a fundraiser on our behalf, or want to volunteer. We gladly accept any and all of your support. It is through the generous support that our mission has grown and continues to change the lives of women in our area. Through individual donors, corporate sponsors, community organizations and area churches our physical and financial needs are met. Become a ‘Hero’
Because operating costs come due each month, we initiated a monthly giving campaign called Hearten House Heroes. For less than what you spend at the coffee shop each week or a few trips through the drive-thru, you can give life-changing hope to a woman in our community. Funds brought in by this campaign go to cover our costs from household supplies to devotional materials to transportation costs. When you give, you’re telling a woman that she has value, she has worth, she can have a new future.
Underwrite specific items
Day-to-day needs for our mission stack up high. We have expenses that look like any other business such as payroll and staffing, but we also have the added bonus of covering costs to run a household of up to 16 women. Any financial gift is appreciated and will be put to use to help fund the operation and mission of Hearten House. Donate needed items
What’s needed for your house, is what’s needed for our house. From cleaning supplies, toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels and laundry detergent… if you use it at your house, we use it at our house! Or you can visit our Amazon Registry to purchase items online that are needed for the house. Whether you shop online or choose to pick things up as you’re out and about, these in-kind donations make a big difference. You might even donate items from your garden, closet or pantry. We’d appreciate any gift!
Become a sponsor
We hold a few fundraising events each year that offer the opportunity for corporate sponsorship. Our Hope For The Future Gala takes place in February and is a night of celebration, dinner, auctions and dancing. In October, we host One Night, an event aimed at shining a light on homelessness in our area. In downtown Auburn, we gather for worship, testimony and an overnight stay outside. At each of these events, sponsors receive numerous perks and recognition. Be sure to ask how you can get involved as a corporate sponsor!
Get involved
Giving doesn’t have to come from your wallet. You can give of your time and your talents. Want to volunteer? From odd jobs around our property to spending time with our women, we enjoy having community members spend time in our space. You can also consider hosting a fundraiser on Hearten House’s behalf. Maybe it’s a penny pitch at your workplace or a carwash that your family puts on… the creative ideas are endless and the financial support is greatly appreciated.
