I completed a half-way house and a couple substance abuse programs but, still I relapsed again. Now that I’m at Hearten House, I FINALLY GET IT!! I was missing God in my recovery.

Hearten House is helping me by showing me the way that God has planned for me. With His amazing grace, I am forgiven. Big or little, I am forgiven. I started working with two of my best friends that live at Hearten House. I saw how spiritual they are now and how Hearten House has changed their lives. I wanted what they have…and now I do!!! I want to share an example of my growth: I falsified a statement and wrongly accused someone for my own selfish gain. “No lie goes unpunished.” I went into court and I confessed of my dishonesty. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done but, now I have God and my Hearten House family by my side. I told the truth!!! I have shed more tears and experienced God bumps in the last two months. I know that because of Hearten House, this time, I am going to be OK!!!!
